Congratulations to tde Pinnacle L4 Betas, who placed second overall at tde Cheer Power Texas Open.

Isabella and Gigi headed to Tulsa, OK in hopes of a great placement for their crowd pleaser duo. Their efforts would not go unrecognized, as they were awarded 1st place.

We had great showing at our first ever Army Bowl Championship. All our team members were awarded with a participation t-shirt, placement medals, and our first place Junior Blue team won a banner.

Individuals had another spectacular finish. Ashiya was awarded a High Point title for her Best Cheerleader routine, scoring one of the highest point totals of the day. She was presented with a High Point trophy for her scores. PCC would also like to recognize Megan, who won Best Jumps. She competed under La Vernia high school and trains at Pinnacle.

Our parents even got into the awards act, as they were presented with a plaque for parent participation. We would also like to recognize Karen, who saw two cheerleaders on the side of the road with a flat tire and took them to the competition. The girls were not Pinnacle athletes, but in the true meaning of sportsmanship, she was still happy to help. She was recognized with a Sportsmanship award.

We would also like to recognize two schools that had great showings. St. Matthew's middle school is lead by our own Coach Raul. They were awarded 1st place. PCC has helped with their choreography and music for their routine. In addition, Churchill Varsity had a 1st place showing along with a High Point title for the level 4 divisions. Our schools were awarded with 1st place medals and Churchill was also presented with High Point sweatshirts. Both schools take stunting and tumbling classes at Pinnacle.

Our individuals journeyed to Houston to compete at Cheer Power's Texas State Open. The girls took the mat and put on impressive showings.

Our individuals headed to Galveston, Texas in hopes of having a great showing at the Cheer Power High Point Banquet. We were very pleased to have all competitors place in the top five of their respective categories. All athletes were presented with individual plaques and Top 5 sweatshirts. All our High Point Champions received jackets and will have their photo on the Cheer Power web site and in American Cheerleader Magazine!

Andi and Ashlee were also presented with Sportsmanship Award plaques. This is a very prestigious award that is selected by other individual participants from other gyms.

Our girls continued to impress the judges at individual nationals. All our athletes were awarded with All-American sweatshirts, placement trophies, and plaques. In addition, all National Champions were presented with large trophies and new jackets! They will also have their picture posted on the Cheer Power web site and American Cheerleader Magazine. Ashiya was also noticed by the judges for her showmanship. They awarded her with the only Showmanship Award plaque given during the youth individual division.

We would also like to recognize two of our Senior Elite team members who competed at individual nationals for their schools.

Our very own Ashiya was noticed by the San Antonio Express News as well as the judges! She was featured in an article in the January 21, 2007 Sunday edition. She wrapped up the weekend with 2 High Point titles, one second place High Point, 3 national championships, and a Showmanship Award. Congratulations, Ashiya!

The PCC teams went to Garland, Texas in hopes of returning with the first team titles from CGA's Small Gym Nationals. Our Pups were first to take the mat, and despite having a few discrepancies, they were still awarded 12th place out of 21 teams. Junior Blue lead after preliminaries, but fell short to a talented team by 0.15 points. They were awarded 2nd place, for an outstanding performance. Our Junior Black team wrapped up the weekend in style. After taking 1st place in prelims, they were able to hold their lead and were awarded the first team title of 2007. In addition, they were awarded with the Level 3 Choreography Award for their performance. In addition, the National Champions were given the first team letterman jackets in the history of Pinnacle! Our own Coach Jericho was also presented with a "Coach of the Year" award, which was presented as a result of being nominated by one of his athletes. She had sent in a two page essay describing her coach, and it was chosen out of over 200 entries.

American Cheer Power's Southern Nationals was the next stop on PCC's list. We were excited to see all our teams finish in the top 3! Our amazing Pups were awarded 3rd place for their efforts. In addition, our Junior Blue and Junior Black teams were both presented with a first place finish and banners for the gym. All three teams won large placement medals and large cup trophies. Our teams also qualified to participate in The Final Destination competition. Only the top 3 teams were invited to compete at the All Level World's Best Championship held in Baltimore, MD. Junior Blue and Junior Black team members were also awarded with first place leather jackets!

As a first year gym, we took three teams to National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) nationals. All three teams were ranked in the top 7, going into finals. Our Pups put up a great effort in having only 18 members in a division that went up to a maximum of 35. They were awarded 9th place out of 17! Junior Blue were ranked 5th place out of 22 teams, in the preliminary round. The girls improved their position by two places and were presented with the 3rd place trophy. We ended our NCA weekend with our Junior Black team. After being ranked 3rd going into finals, the cleaner routine in finals allowed them to jump up one spot, as they were awarded 2nd place for their efforts. We were glad to make the San Antonio area proud, in our first year at NCA nationals. Our teams took the stage against the most competitive programs in the industry and did well. We received many compliments from our peers and fans of other programs.

Our teams had high hopes of making a strong impression at American Spirit Championships. The event was held in our back yard at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, Texas. PCC individuals had a spectacular showing and added eight national titles to our collection. Teams also had an impressive showing. After a fourth place showing in prelims, our Pups managed to have an even better performance in finals, finishing in third place! Junior Blue followed by hitting their entire routine. They maintained their large lead for first place out of prelims and came home with jackets and another national title! In addition, they were given the Stunt Award for having the best stunts out of the entire Level 2 division. Junior Black was tied for first place with a talented TexStar team. After displaying a great performance in finals, they were given the first place trophy and jackets. Junior Black wasn't done there. Our girls also received the Stunt Award for best stunts out of the entire level three division. They were also named the Grand Champions for the Level 3 Junior division. Our Senior Elite had to overcome some adversity to get to this national. We were proud to see our girls come together on the warm up mat after having to replace a team member and adjust the routine due to an injury. They were in second place after prelims and were announced the national champion runner up at finals.

The Redline Cheer and Dance Company played host to their first National Championship in San Antonio, Texas. The competition was held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center on the River Walk. Our individual competitors and teams took the mat in hopes of finishing our first year with a bang. Individuals took the mat in impressive fashion will all athletes placing in the top three. They finished the weekend in style, winning 12 national titles. In addition, they were awarded one 1st place, three 2nd place, and one 3rd place trophy. All individuals will be receiving National Champion jackets! Pups were in search of their first national title. After a 2nd place prelim showing, the Pups went on to a much better day two performance. They were awarded the 1st place National Championship as well as the Grand Champion title for Level 1. Junior Blue was next up. After prelims, they were in 1st place in their division and 2nd place in high point for Level 2. Their day two performance landed them the 2nd highest score of the day, resulting in a 1st place National Title and another Grand Champion award. They were also presented with the Choreography award for their division. Despite not having their full team, Junior Black maintained their commanding lead for high point after prelims and were announced the 1st place National Champions and the Level 3 Grand Champions. Junior Black also won the Tumbling and Choreography awards for Level 3. We were proud to watch our Senior Elite Co-Ed take the mat for the first time. They maintained their prelim high point lead in day two. Our guys and gals were awarded the 1st place National Title and the Grand Champion Title. Our Level 5 also won the Tumbling and Choreography awards for their division. Our parents even got into the act as they were presented with the Parent Spirit Award. In addition, all our athletes were presented with National Championship jackets! PCC is proud to say that all our all-star team members have won a national title in our first year of operation!

Our Level 5 Senior team wrapped up Pinnacle's first competitive cheer season at the Athletic Championship's nationals. With limited practice time, they still went out on the mat and had a great showing. They were awarded second place for their efforts.

Pinnacle Cheer all-star teams kicked off the 2007-2008 season at American Spirit Championship Summer Nationals. Despite having less than 2 months of practice with our new teams and routines, we still had high hopes of having a great start to our season, competing again more than 60 other teams. Our individuals were first to take the mat. They had a more than impressive showing as they came home with 14 Nationals Titles and two 2nd place showings!

Despite only being on a cheer floor, many of our individuals still tumbled and had a great showing. Every individual was awarded with a first place trophy. In addition, they were given Power Awards. These give our athletes a chance to be featured at a San Antonio Spurs basketball game! We would like to also acknowledge Ashlee for her high point win for her division. Pinnacle was also presented with a large trophy for Cheer Power's Participation Award! Special thanks go out to all our friends and family who came out to support our individuals and enjoy the day at the park.

This event was held in the Alamodome. Teams had a great showing. Our Alphas were awarded the High Point award for the highest point total in their division. All team members were given high point sweat shirts. We'd like to thank all the family and friends who supported our athletes this weekend.

Pinnacle Cheer Company made its competition debut at ASC Summer Nationals in a big way! After a great team showing for our first competition, our individuals presented our gym with our first national titles. We ended the individual performances with 5 national titles and 2 second place trophies! Congratulations on a great showing for individuals and our first national titles.

The all-star teams wrapped up the nationals weekend in style, winning 3 national titles. The Junior Blue team was also awarded the Grand National title for their division. Great job to all the teams on an awesome showing in Padre!

Our teams made their regional debut at Cheer Power's Halloween Holiday competition in San Antonio, Texas. Junior Blue kicked off the day for Pinnacle in a big way. They were awarded 1st place and a High Point title for the junior and up division. Junior Black followed in an impressive fashion. They were also awarded 1st place and a High Point title for their efforts. Our Pups wrapped up the competition, and despite having timing issues, they were given 2nd place against numerous competitors. All teams were given a team trophy, and our first place winners were given individual medals. In addition, our Junior Blue and Junior Black teams were awarded with High Point sweatshirts.

Our individuals also had a great showing, and Ashiya was presented with the Spirit award, Power award (scoring 80 or above), and an automatic bid to Cheer Power's televised Army Bowl event.

After a great day at Cheer Power on Saturday, we hoped to have a good showing at American Spirit Championships, the following day. Our individuals lead the way and had a great showing. Teams followed and gave PCC their first SWEEP of a competition, showing that we ARE the pinnacle of all-star cheerleading in the San Antonio area. All three teams that competed were awarded first place and High Point titles for their divisions! We are very proud of our individuals and teams and look forward to their next competition.

PCC had a great showing with our WSA debut. Our individuals swept the competition, all winning first place in their divisions. In addition, our teams displayed their talents and represented the gym well. The PCC staff would like to thank all the athletes, parents, and friends in the stands for their undying support. Their efforts in the stands lead to a spirit award!

Andrea, a member of our Pups team, was also awarded 1st place for the pageant. She received $1,000.00 cash and a chance to model professionally.

The PCC teams put on another great showing! We kept the momentum rolling at Cheer Power's Patriotic Holiday Championship. We left a 1st place trophy at Spook Night, with our Pups having an awesome second place finish. After adding new athletes and a lot of hard work, ALL Pinnacle teams were awarded 1st place trophies. All team members were presented with competition t- shirts and gold medals for their efforts, and the gym was presented with 1st place trophies for each team. In addition,our Junior Blue and Junior Black teams were given High Point awards! These athletes were also given High Point sweatshirts, and the gym received two High Point cups. Our wonderful parents even got into the act by winning a spirit plaque for their outrageous support!

Our individuals also had a great showing at a very competitive competition. Thanks to all for makingourfirsttravelingregionalasuccess. Allteamswhohavecompetedinthesefirsttwo Cheer Power regionals have scored very high. This makes them eligible to make a great run for the World Series of Cheerleading, which may result in cash prizes for the gym.

Our Senior Elite made their debut at ASC's Austin regional. They were awarded first place for their efforts. Congratulations, ladies!
